June 16, 2025

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS – The Board of Directors of Legacy Deo is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Carlove as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1.

Carlove succeeds Rev. Dr. Jerry Kieschnick, who is retiring after a total of 14 years of faithful leadership at Legacy Deo, and 55 years in ministry with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

Mr. Carlove brings over 30 years of experience in faith-based management, parochial education leadership, fundraising and community development. Most recently serving as Vice President of Philanthropy at Concordia Texas, he is widely recognized for cultivating strong relationships with alumni and constituents which fund the university’s strategic goals and programs. “Legacy Deo’s mission deeply resonates with my calling to serve others through Christ,” said Carlove. “I am honored and excited to lead this incredible team into a future of faithful service.”

“The Board is thrilled to welcome Patrick as the next CEO of Legacy Deo. After a thorough and prayerful search process, we are confident that Carlove is the right person to lead Legacy Deo forward,” said Duane Dube, Chair of the Board. “His leadership, faith, and passion for Christ-centered service uniquely equip him for this role.”

As Legacy Deo continues to expand its services, Carlove will focus on strengthening partnerships, stewarding resources responsibly, and advancing the mission of inspiring giving that impacts life forever. The entire Legacy Deo family welcomes Patrick and looks forward to what God will do through this next season of leadership.
