God’s Gift. Your Legacy.

God. You. Your legacy. How does it all fit together? That is where Legacy Deo can help. It starts with recognizing that God (Latin: Deo) is the giver of all gifts. What you do with his gifts is the legacy you leave. We are here to help establish and nurture your God-honoring legacy, one that demonstrates your faith and benefits your family for years to come.

Our mission is to inspire giving that impacts life forever. Let us help you cast a vision for your legacy and create a charitable giving plan tailored to your needs. For more than fifty years, we’ve helped people just like you make that become a reality.

God’s Gift. Your Legacy.

Lutheran Foundation of Texas (LFOT) was founded in 1960 in response to a donor whose desire was to give a tract of real estate to the Texas District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).  Since then, we have grown into a full-service planned giving foundation managing $41 million of assets held in more than 400 accounts.

We operate as a charitable, non-profit, tax-exempt ministry.  Through our mission we help individuals and families, congregations, and agencies provide planned gifts to Christian ministries and other charities. In 2015 we distributed $1.8 million for that purpose.

Brian HamiltonWe are grateful for our school endowment clients! If your school doesn't have an endowment, let us help establish one. Operations, tuition assistance, and program needs are some many things funded by our school endowments.
